Home from home family care for your dog.

We are a small business based near Bovey Tracey, Devon. We have space for 3 boarding dogs at any one time. Your dog joins our happy family and will get a minimum of 2 hours walking each day. We do not use kennels or cages.

We have been established for over 8 years and are fully insured, licensed, first aid qualified, and hold a current DBS.

T&C’s for Happy Paws Boarding:

All dogs must complete a 24-hour taster session to check that your dog is compatible, happy, and
comfortable in their holiday environment.

After a successful taster session, will we ask you to complete and
sign the relevant forms and paperwork. All boarders must do this to ensure compliance with the legal requirements.

We expect all dogs to be happy and comfortable to walk, play, and live around other dogs and be
comfortable around our children.

We expect all dogs to have good recall. This is for their own safety!

Happy Paws has a zero tolerance policy towards aggression. If any dogs display unwanted behaviour, someone will need to collect your dog. You will need to provide Happy Paws with emergency contact
details naming someone who can collect your dog at short notice if necessary. This is especially important if
you are leaving your dog to travel abroad.

On completion of a successful taster session and confirmation of booking dates, a non refundable deposit
of £50 per dog is required as security. If the deposit is not paid within 7 working days, then we can not confirm the booking.
Deposits are deducted from the final payment which is due 8 weeks prior to the booking date.
Dates can be changed or cancelled up to 8 weeks before the booking. The final payment is non refundable.


Our charges are per day: 8am - 6pm & per night 6pm - 8am.

Drop off times:
Monday to Friday between 8am and 8.40 am and Saturday between 8.30 am and 10.30 am, is when our working day begins. Please note that we do not allow any later drop-offs. Dogs must arrive within the morning time frame to allow a day full of walks and
time to burn off excess energy, enabling them to comfortably settle into their new environment.

Collection times :
Monday to Friday mornings between 8am - 8.40am or afternoons between 3pm-6pm
Saturday morning between 8.30 am and 10.30am
Sundays - WE ARE CLOSED. We do not allow drop-offs or collections on Sundays

A added note: Most good travel insurance policies will cover unexpected cancellations, which cover your dogs care.
